About Us
A cabinetmaker, it was while making furniture and kitchens that the current founder, Sylvain Pelchat, noticed shortcomings when dealing with suppliers for his cabinet doors. It was many years later, in 2003, after countless hours of research and work, that Créations Thermodoor was finally born. Drawing on his experience in cabinetmaking, he decided to offer his customers what he, himself, had been looking for: quality products and personalized customer service.
In 2013, after completing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Marilyne Pelchat, daughter of the founder, decided to join the management team, with the intention of gradually taking over the company. Over the next ten years, she gained valuable experience, leading the sales and marketing division while managing HR and business development. In 2023, Marilyne officially took the helm, becoming a shareholder in the company. That same year, Créations Thermodoor invested several million dollars in expanding and automating its production facility. Thanks to these efforts, the company will be able to increase its production capacity fivefold, reduce manufacturing lead times, and streamline operations for its team.
